Motiv8Me founders Lisa Allen and Trish Drennan began their business in April 2009 as a micro-experiment in their residential Loudoun County neighborhood. The pair launched the business after searching, unsuccessfully, for a program that would combine the benefits of personalized training with group fitness.

Elaine VonCannon entered the real estate profession in the competitive Williamsburg, VA market at the start of the real estate boom. She was looking to capture retirement and relocation business and out-of-state leads. In 2003, her website, VonCannonRealEstate.com was a one page template that gave little information to the visitor. Threshold Technologies re-designed the site, made it search engine friendly, provided a CMS that allowed her to list her new and featured properties, and installed an MLS link to the site.
